Long distance walks

The three Park entrances form the start of longer distance walks of about 20 km.

Forest walk starting at the Hoenderloo entrance: 17.5 km

During the mating season from 1 September to 30 September, part of this route is closed, reducing it to 14 km.

This walk takes you through the magnificent park forests at the Hoenderloo entrance, to the edge of Deelense Veld, via the Central Area, Jachthuis Sint Hubertus and back to the Hoenderloo entrance.Map

Game walk starting at the Otterlo entrance: 22.7 km

During the mating season from 1 September to 30 September, this route is closed.

This walk takes you via Otterlose zand, Jachthuis Sint Hubertus, Deelense Veld, Pampelse zand and Oud-Reemsterzand via Jeneverbessenbos, Plijmen and Rieselo back to the Otterlo entrance.Map

Panorama walk starting at the Schaarsbergen entrance: 19.1 km, extended route 24.2 km

During the mating season from 1 September to 30 September, the extended route is closed.

This walk takes you via the former Oud Reemst settlement, (the extended route runs via Oud-Reemsterzand, Jeneverbessenbos to Deelense Straal) across Oudreemster Veld, via Deelense Straal across "De Kemperberg" country estate, back to the Schaarsbergen entrance. Map
