Nature

The landscapes of the Park are home to an extraordinary diversity of plant and animal species. From the rare fritillary butterfly to the majestic red deer, and from the Alcon blue butterfly to the viper’s-grass. The Park is home to more than one hundred Red List species (species that have disappeared from the Netherlands or are at risk of disappearing), including the northern wheatear, Eurasian wryneck, moor frog and grass snake.
