Campsite regulations

To make your stay at the campsite in De Hoge Veluwe National Park as pleasant as possible, a number of rules apply.

  • On the day of departure you must leave the campsite no later than 11 a.m. Extensions of your planned stay must be communicated at least one day in advance. An available spot cannot be guaranteed if you still want to extend on the day of departure.
  • Campervans longer than 8 meters are not allowed.
  • You must park your caravan or campervan between the numbered posts. Keep a distance of at least 5 metres from the edge, and make sure you’re not too close to other campers. You can pick your own spot on the tent pitch, as long as you keep a distance of at least 5 metres from other campers.
  • You may leave your caravan / campervan / tent unattended for a maximum of one night. Please inform the campsite manager of this.
  • Campers are allowed to camp on the campsite for a maximum of three consecutive weeks. There must be a month between this and your next stay.
  • The opening hours of the Park also apply to campers. You may not enter the Park outside opening hours. For more information about the opening hours, please see here.
  • Outside opening hours, campers can leave and enter the campsite through the Hoenderloo entrance. This is only possible on foot or by bicycle through the pedestrian gate. White Bikes must remain on Park grounds at all times. If you want to use your car outside of opening hours, you can park it in the car park by the Hoenderloo entrance. You can get a free parking permit from the porter. In case of emergency, the gate can be opened remotely.
  • Open fire is not allowed. You can use the fire pit at the sanitary building in consultation with the campsite manager. Barbecuing is only allowed if there is no risk of fire. For more information about the current circumstances, please check the information board at the sanitairy building or ask the campsite manager.
  • The campsite must be quiet between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m.
  • Dogs are allowed, provided they are on a leash. There is a dog off-leash area right next to the Park entrance.
  • White Bikes may not be parked near your caravan, campervan or tent.
  • Additional measures may apply in connection with corona. View all measures here.
